About This Station

The station is powered by a Davis VPII weather station. The data is collected every 5 seconds and the site is updated every 10 minutes as well as constant updates via ajax code. This site and its data is collected using Weather Display Software. The station is comprised of an anemometer, a rain gauge and a thermo-hydro sensor situated in optimal positions for highest accuracy possible.

About Branford

Branford is located along the shoreline of Connecticut midway betweem New York and Rhode Island.

The Town has typical New England weather along with the special effects of Long Island Sound. The Sound provides warmth in the winter and cool breezes during the summer.
